We bring you an exclusive recipe from our customer of the month, Mr. Lubomir, who shared his original "Jáhloto" with us. This unusual dish combines tradition with innovation and is a great example of how you too can experiment in your kitchen.
Ingredience:
  • Eggs
  • Couscous medium semolina
  • Vegetables of choice
  • Soup mix (frozen)
  • Bacon
  • Himalayan salt (to taste)

Preparation of ingredients: Start by preparing the ingredients. We will cook the oats, couscous and vegetables separately. Salt each of these ingredients to taste so that each part of the dish has its own character.

Cooking: Cook oats and couscous according to package instructions. Cook the vegetables of your choice until tender along with the frozen soup mix. You can choose any combination of vegetables that you find suitable and that adds colour and flavour to the dish.

Bacon preparation: Meanwhile, cut the bacon into small, about 1 cm pieces. Fry these in a frying pan until golden brown.

Mixing the ingredients: Add the cooked vegetables to the fried bacon and mix everything together. Then incorporate the cooked eggs and couscous into the mixture and mix thoroughly again.

Baking: Transfer the prepared mixture into a baking dish, sprinkle with grated cheese according to taste and bake in a preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes at 180°C.

Serving: Serve the finished Jáhloto either as a main dish or as a rich side dish with meat or fish.
